About

I am a graduate of the University of North Texas. I obtained a major in Communication Studies and a minor in Marketing. I worked on campus for two years within the Communication Studies Department as a tutor and a librarian, I tutored students taking the research/writing intensive APA class in the major.

I love crafts and expressing myself creatively. I spend my free time journaling, practicing yoga, and being involved with my church community.

I grew up in North Texas and I love trying new restaurants and spending time with friends and family.

Event Planning Experience

I have planned, organized, and executed many events during my last two years in college serving as the Bruce Hall Association President, a branch of the UNT Residence Hall Association. I successfully held meetings, coordinated volunteers, managed a small group of peers to lead the association, and focused many of the events on creating community in the hall.
Some of the events my Hall Association put on included:

A haunted house (1000+ atendees)
A 12 hour lobby concert
S’mores/campfire/cookout event
Spring break bash
Holiday parties
Appreciation events
Informational sessions
Yoga programs
Movie nights
Study sessions
Recycling program
Pool tournament

Prior to my time st Bruce Hall I noticed a lack of opportunities for college student in much church and I initiated a weekly bible study. I planned and lead the study each week from snacks to choosing music to picking readings and developing discussion questions.
